You have successfully submitted the registration details. In order to activate your login account, kindly check your Email ID and click on the activation link in the email. Then after you may go for login.

Note: Activate your account within 24 hours otherwise your submitted registration details will be removed automatically.

Steps to Apply for Solar Rooftop

Step 1

Download Sandes App & Register in the portal with the following

Select your State
Select your Electricity Distribution Company
Enter your Electricity Consumer Number
Enter Mobile Number
Enter Email
Please follow as per the direction from the portal

Login with Consumer Number & Mobile Number
Apply for the Rooftop Solar as per the form

Step 3

Wait for the feasibility approval from DISCOM. Once you get the feasibility approval install the plant by any of the registered vendors in your DISCOM

Step 4

Once installation is over , submit the plant details and apply for net meter

Step 5

After installation of net meter and inspection by DISCOM, they will generate commissioning certificate from portal

Step 6

Once you got the commissioning report submit bank account details and a cancelled cheque through the portal. Subsidy will come your account within 30 working days

Vendor registration process for National Portal

1. The vendors willing to execute the projects through National Portal can get registered with respective DISCOM
by submitting an application along with a declaration in the format given at www.solarrooftop.gov.in
and depositing a PBG of Rs. 2,50,000/- valid for at least five years.

2. Vendors can submit the application at the Division/Circle level and their name will be included
in the list of empanelled vendors within a period of one month from the date of submission
of the application. The DISCOM will update the list every month.

3. The DISCOM will upload the details of the registered vendors on the National Portal
and the vendors will receive a registration mail. The vendors can now login into the National Portal with PAN No.
and mobile number (used by DISCOM for registration) and enter the product rates and contact details.
The details entered by the vendor will be visible to the consumer submitting application to the concerned DISCOM for rooftop solar.

Portal Launch

Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi launched the National Portal for Rooftop Solar on 30/07/2022. Shri R. K. Singh, Union Minister for Power and NRE and Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar, MoS, Power and Heavy Industries were present. Shri Bhagwanth Khuba, MoS, MNRE joined virtually.
